Inclusive Digital Participation: The Migrant Voice in the Valencian Community

The project Inclusive Digital Participation: The Migrant Voice in the Valencian Community, subsidised by the Presidency of the Generalitat Valenciana, aims to strengthen the civic participation of migrants in the Valencian Community through training processes, inclusive digital tools and the creation of spaces for collective advocacy in the public policies that affect them. Through this initiative, the aim is to promote participatory and intercultural governance, enabling migrants to play an active role in the social and democratic life of the territory.

To this end, the project includes the organisation of civic participation training workshops, aimed at strengthening knowledge and capacities for informed and effective participation. A participatory digital platform will also be developed to serve as a space for exchange, coordination and visibility of citizen proposals. These actions will be complemented by the organisation of a Citizens’ Initiatives Presentation Conference in Valencia, designed to share proposals arising from participatory processes and to foster dialogue with various social and institutional actors.

In parallel, the project will drive the creation of a Civic Participation Network, with the aim of strengthening coordination among organisations, groups and participants, encouraging collaborative and joint working dynamics. A space for internal deliberation will also be established to enable collective reflection, exchange of experiences and the development of proposals aimed at improving the participation and inclusion of migrants in the Valencian Community.
