Fighting gender-based violence. Learning to decide – Continuation.

The programme “Fighting gender-based violence. Learning to decide – Continuation”, funded by the Valencia City Council, aims to contribute to the eradication of gender-based violence through the socio-labour empowerment of women in situations or at risk of social vulnerability.

To achieve this goal, the programme develops group support activities aimed at strengthening personal empowerment, raising awareness on equality, and improving skills for socio-labour inclusion.

The planned activities include workshops on gender awareness, self-care, and support networks, as well as social skills training focused on active job searching. In addition, an awareness campaign will be carried out to mark 8 March (International Women’s Day).

The programme also includes a computer and new technologies course, together with several technical and practical training pathways, including:
– Retail sales assistant course.
– Bakery sales assistant course.

Through these actions, the programme seeks to strengthen the personal and economic autonomy of participating women, promoting their active participation and labour market inclusion in violence-free environments.
