Comprehensive Coverage and Support for People and Families in Social Emergency Situations 2026
The Comprehensive Coverage and Support for People and Families in Social Emergency Situations programme aims to provide integral care to individuals and family units in social emergency situations by covering their basic needs.
In this framework, the programme is structured around two main lines of intervention: on one hand, ensuring food coverage for families through the provision of food purchase cards; and on the other, economic support linked to the schooling of families with dependent children under their care, aimed at covering essential expenses related to the education of minors and young people up to the age of 17. These targeted supports include: grants for school supplies; extracurricular activities; school meals and/or breakfast; and school uniforms.
In addition to economic support, individual and/or family accompaniment will be provided to offer comprehensive care to beneficiaries through referrals to other resources, training referrals, and workshops and activities aimed at improving the autonomy and social situation of participants.
The workshops to be carried out cover four themes:
– Social skills workshops oriented towards professional and personal development.
– Employment guidance and job search workshops.
– “Minimising the Digital Divide” workshops.
– Family School.
The programme will be developed primarily in three municipalities: Madrid, Arganda del Rey and Pinto. In Madrid, priority will be given to the Usera district for school grants and to Vallecas for food coverage.
