Coverage of Basic Needs for Food and Educational Equality – Continuation<br/>

The project “Coverage of Basic Needs for Food and Educational Equality – Continuation”, funded by the First Vice-Presidency and the Regional Ministry of Social Services, Equality and Housing of the Generalitat Valenciana, aims to respond to the urgent needs of families experiencing severe vulnerability and poverty through the implementation of emergency assistance measures that help improve their living conditions and promote their social and economic stability.

These support measures include food vouchers, educational assistance and partial coverage of essential utility expenses, thereby guaranteeing the fulfilment of immediate basic needs such as food, education and housing.

At the same time, the project seeks to strengthen the economic autonomy of families in the medium term by promoting training and employment skills development. Through training activities and referrals to specialised courses, the programme aims to improve professional competencies and facilitate reintegration or stability within the labour market, fostering a sustainable improvement in participants’ personal, social and family circumstances.

The programme’s planned actions include:

• • Distribution of 12 food vouchers to help cover essential nutritional needs.
    
  • Provision of 2 educational grants and 2 utility assistance grants, aimed at ensuring access to education and the maintenance of essential services.
    
  • Referral to vocational and occupational training courses to improve labour skills and promote employability.
    

Through this project, the aim is not only to address the most immediate emergencies, but also to provide families with tools that enable them to regain stability and build a future with greater opportunities.
