Volunteer Project for Social and Cultural Integration in Valencia (PVISC)

The project “Volunteer Project for Social and Cultural Integration in Valencia (PVISC)”, funded by the First Vice-Presidency and the Regional Ministry of Social Services, Equality and Housing of the Generalitat Valenciana, aims to strengthen and coordinate a volunteer network that supports migrants in their processes of social, labour and cultural inclusion.

The programme’s main activities include the training and awareness-raising of volunteers, comprehensive support for migrants throughout their integration process, the creation of informal support networks, and the organisation of cultural exchange activities to encourage coexistence, promote knowledge of Valencian culture and foster connections between volunteers and programme participants.

For AESCO, volunteering is a key element of its mission: it helps expand the reach of its actions, strengthen community cohesion and provide close and personalised support. Through this approach, the project creates a transformative impact by promoting the autonomy of migrants and contributing to the construction of a more inclusive, supportive and diverse society.
