Service for the Support and Promotion of Interculturality in the Province of Valencia (SEAPIV)

The Service for the Support and Promotion of Interculturality in the Province of Valencia (SEAPIV), funded by the First Vice-Presidency and the Regional Ministry of Social Services, Equality and Housing of the Generalitat Valenciana, aims to promote actions that facilitate the inclusion of people in situations or at risk of social exclusion by removing administrative barriers and strengthening intercultural coexistence and social cohesion within Valencian society, based on diversity and equal opportunities.

The programme includes the following main activities:

Legal guidance and support, providing personalised assistance and helping to prevent situations of social exclusion.

Referral to employment training courses, aimed at developing the skills and competencies needed to improve access to the labour market.

Digital skills workshops, designed to reduce the digital divide and encourage the appropriate use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs).

Language and cultural exchange workshops, promoting the recognition of cultural diversity and the values of Valencian society.

Group wellbeing sessions focused on emotional and social wellbeing.

An Intercultural Festival and a Diversity and Citizen Participation Day, promoting active participation, intercultural dialogue and social cohesion within the community.
